Matador fights for his life after being gored by a bull

I fail to comprehend why there is such an abundance of hippies?

Im starting to think that its some sort of virus because its spreading, and fast!

You don't have to be a hippie to not agree with bull fighting, I am no veggie or anything but hurting animals for fun, when has that been cool?

Who knows what his future will hold... he could even reject his past and become an animal rights activist :p Unlikely, true. But none of us should be so quick to wish ill (even death) on anyone.

Hopefully he won't want to continue bull fighting, but even if he does, there is a chance that at some point in his life he might regret what he's done.

If he never does, well too bad. He still has a right to live.

Tomas returned to the ring in 2007 to tremendous fanfare — he told one interviewer "living without bullfighting is not living" — and since then suffered a number of serious gorings in Spain.

I think the Spanish should be angry at him for his flagrant abuse of their health service, to be honest. :p

Well that's too bad. I can't say I'll care if he doesn't make it :)

I actually enjoyed watching him being carried out.

As opposed to the 'enlightened sort of way' in modern slaughterhouses and such? Should we wish death on their employees too? What if you kill some small animal on the road, or even step on a fly? 'Should' I kill you then?

The clear lines you're drawing here are highly problematic.

Not problematic in the least bit. Modern slaughterhouses are designed around least discomfort for the animal. Not best spectacle/most barbaric.

the guy gets no sympathy from me what-so-ever

i won't open this thread again as these kinds of topics can make me feel quite angry, especially with some of the responces they get
