Yet another footballer is accused of rape, stright after Tweedy gets cleared.

Most of these cases the celeb is cleared. So what is it? Women who target celeb's then yell rape for money/attention

Or Celeb's feel they can get away with it because they have the money and power?

To be honest i have no idea!

A combination of those things, plus the unequal anonymity protection involved and the risk of kiss and tell allegations are all factors.

most seem to be daft bints of a young age that think the celebs arent just going to use them and toss them to the gutter.

the day after they realise they were just a sex object and feel dirty when they realise it wasnt some hollywood romance.

my theory anyway

Yea I think for a lot of them the day afterwards when the celeb can't even be bothered to speak to them, they do it as revenge.

Of course if Max Clifford gets involved and it's a big name you could be looking at maybe £80,000 for the sale of the story to the paper (if you lose your anonymity).

Footballers can generally get as much tail as they could ever want. They wouldn't need to rape to get their rocks off.

BIt of all of the above really, some people are in it to make hush money or sell their story to the papers. Sometimes I guess it will be a young girl whose impressionable, idolises a celeb, ends up talked into bed, to naive/daft/scared to say no and regrets it, and wants it to be rape, wants to have not been used by their idol and told to smeg off in the morning but its not rape.

Sometimes it will be a truly evil little git of a celeb who does take advantage, problem with rape is its almost impossible to prove, if someones been beaten half to death it does point one way, but otherwise its almost all he said/she said.

Thing is most people will pretty much rightly think take, Beckham, so many women fancy/fancied him and do throw themselves at him that you think, with almost whoever he wants on a plate, why bother raping someone. But then the few footballers who do/will rape someone, its not about what they can have I guess, but about who they can't have.

If I was a footballer I would find a girl, go on dates for a year or two, marry them then have sex with them.

That way you can never be accused of rape!

Is this a bit cruel. I hope one day that they do get rapped then it will serve themself right

By "rapped" do you mean:

Across the knuckles?
Immortalised by some gangsta speaking-singer (showing my age here as I don't know any)?
Or is it you can't spell and have a completely unethical and juvenile viewpoint?

I am rather curious.

Solano, lol he plays the trumpet and seems like one of the nicest blokes in football, he even bought a house and made sure it was big enough for his parents or his wife parents so they could live with them.

Dude you have over 32,000 posts! ... astonishing!

Sorry I know its off topic, but thats atonishing!!

Back on topic, Who is worse, the pampered rich self indulgent footballers who think they can have anything? or the lying life destroying people who want everything?

none of the above tbh... tis far simpler than that - the vast majority of rape cases simply don't end in a conviction - tis very hard to prove in a court of law as its often one persons word against another and to prove beyond reasonable doubt is quite a task....

obv in a lot of the cases perhaps alcohol is involved, perhaps the girl went back willingly and did stuff with the rapist but wasn't intending to sleep with him etc..etc..

You said "none of the above" and then argued it was the second of the above. tbh, lol, etc.
