I'm a bit worried it'll run like a dog with my PC

athlon-ii x3 @ 2.9 (435 stock)
8800gt
4gig ram

Since everyone says it's a dog of a port, I'm not entirely sure if it's worth it even at only £5

i got it during the winter sale. well worth the cash even on my machine. had plenty of hours of fun.

Had it on the 360 and didn't like it much, (all other GTA games had on the comp)

I understand it's a bad console port, full of bugs etc. But for £5 what the hell

Does anyone know how GFWL handles multiple copies of the same game? I'd quite like to get GTA4 on Steam but I already have a retail copy registered on GFWL. I'd like achievements I got on the Steam copy to add to the same account.

Everyone saying its a bad port & full of bugs etc dont know what they're talking about.
It was designed to use 3 cores. If you find it runs slow thats because you have under 3 cores. Just because you cant max it doesnt mean its bad. The graphics sliders at 10% is equal to the console version. This version is far superior. Anyone with an 8800GT & above with 3 cores or more will run this game very well @ reasonable settings. Obviously the better the rig the higher the performance & higher you can adjust the settings...
