Crime boss on PH?

I don't think it's surprising that there are some similarities between being a 'successful' crime boss and a successful business leader, especially in a Market as competitive as the one OcUK operates in.

My comment was just tongue in cheek with a little reference to Spie's self-admitted ruthlessness and the godfather rank structure on the forums.

Those little rants above were way too 'speakers corner' for this time of day in motors! Hehe.

when ocuk started there wasnt much competition one of ocuks main rivals at the time operated from a bedroom

Haha, I know! Don't get me wrong, his choice of lifestyle is completely wrong in my eyes and he totally deserves the repercussions. But I'd like to believe that this choice was a result of, and motivation for, his passion and not vice-versa. (Realistically he could be jerk completely - just basinig this on the posts I've read!)

1) Does anyone actually know why he was arrested, he was into crime, but what sort of crime?
2) He must have been a clever induvidual, shame he didn't put it to good use.

He can't really have been that clever if he was flashing motors like those around on the internet and putting his line of work as 'pharmaceuticals'. :D

Does anyone else even have two Veyrons? why would you want two...

proceeds of crime... dont they get crushed? haha

most likely to be sold id expect

I wouldn't mind helping taking an Enzo or Veyron back to their compound or whatever and getting slightly lost on the way :D

He lives in the US not spain.

And the reason he's got so many cars is his dad had enough money to pay for him to get his pilots license. He's now a fully fledged trans atlantic pilot. Which as you can imagine, pays rather well :p

drug dealing not required lol.

PS has anybody noticed that Jalopnik's article now says that the 2 blokes (in the news and on pistonheads) are now one and the same ?

The OP seems to suggest they people on PH weren't sure they are one and the same ?

i thought it was quite funny how his usernames were iceman (apparently slang for coke dealer) and his reg was PEBS (or somethign liek that) which is apparently slang for ecstacy pills

i used to know a "dealer" (with an M3 obviously) whose private plate basically read BLOW

Lol ....I'm sorry but "nice bloke" ... if he was an organised crime boss I do not think it likely he would be a particularly 'nice bloke', at least not if you owed him money or got on the wrong side of him in some way.

Would you be nice to someone that owed you money?

Interesting story.

If the allegation is true, it's a shame really. Ignoring his illegal activities, my first impressions are he doesn't seem to be a bad bloke. Very intelligent about how he ran his life. It's a shame because he could've quit whilst he was ahead. But as with any illegal activities once you're involved, it's hard to quit and then it's only a matter of time until your tracks are uncovered.
not every criminal is stupid, i know you didn't directly say this, but i think many people underestimate how clever some criminals can be as there are so many stupid ones out there that the media love to make a song and dance about ;)

I thought he owned a chain of shops? Or does he do that as well?
