...well if there is and you are as mad about this guy as i am you might like to know that he will be appearing as a "special guest" at the Sandy Thom gig at The Borderline in London on the 11th of May!... get ya` tickets quick!

yeh hes pretty awesome, i first heard of him a year or so ago when he appeared on jules holland, i now have about 3 of his albums - Sloe Gin is his best by far.
 
I've seen him live a couple of times and got a couple of live DVDs.
I'm looking forward to his collaboration with Glenn Hughes, Derek Sherinan & Jason Bonham and they will be called Black Country.
 
I like a recent quote he made about Al De Miola knicking riffs off third world artists and then says :
'Mind you I bought a glass house off Eric Clapton so I can't talk'

Im sure i read somewhere that they had literally finished the album and then had some big bust up so they are no more? :/
 
...the ` Black Country` name is out the window... already used by a band who protested evidently!?.... latest working title is The Cavemen... but in house arguing between hierarchy is holding up the possible release of the album which is reported to be finished... but whether it appears will remain to be seen!
