Touchscreen Headunit for Ipod Touch 64GB 3G

Never had this with mine, and I have a LOT of music on my ipod

FYI you can go backwards through the alphabet

I've got mine set to skip by alphabet letter (rather than by percentage) so when I hold down the outer ring thing and skip by letter it takes a good second or two per letter, does yours not do that? (or am I doing something wrong?)

I've probably got 50gb of music on my iPod which is why I was thinking it might just be the sheer amount on there

I've got about 100gb on mine. Yes if I press the outer ring in and turn it, while browsing any list, it will skip through by the letter of the alphabet. This is instant on mine.

I've got an Alpine IVA-W502R which works really well, full speed iPod control, shows album art and even plays videos on the move. You can search the iPod by Artist, Album, Genre, etc - basically the same controls as on the iPod itself, and just as fast.

That's well smart and what I'm after but I need single DIN, I recognise that dash CTR?


Can you search for tracks on that headunit?

Hmmm, will have to try it on my iPod classic, maybe it's something to do with the touch version?

I haven't tried it with my iPhone properly yet so I'll give that a go too, see if that's any faster
