Wait you ordered a £30,000 car with a drivetrain youve never actually tested?

nearly 40k with the extras and the wife will be driving it mostly and i had my orders :) (must be automatic) women a ?

Wow, cant beleive you bought it without driving it. Madness.

And 40k for the 4 pot version? Surely thats almost S4 money or at the very least the 3.2?

Followed an S5 vert on the way home from work today - it was bright red and was driven by a women in her late thirties/early forties.

I like the shape of the coupe, but I have to admit to being rather underwhelmed with the vert.

Still, I'm sure your wife will enjoy it.

4 years ago i would have got an e46 cab over an audi all day long but i realy feel bmw have dropped the ball with the new car inside and out and tbh audi have picked it up.

hence the you see them all over qoute above

the part ex carpark was full of BMWs lol

not amazing to look at but still better that anything out there for the same money imo of course :)

I did pay over the odds for my car as it is a fully loaded car with options i dont realy need like neck heating and satnav ect but i dont have to miss the summer waiting for it so..........

To be fair the BMW is a better car to drive and also has a folding metal roof and a better range of engines.

£40k for a 4 pot is ridiculous - that almost puts you in a twin turbo 3 litre 3 Series Cab..

i realy dont like the look of the roof tbh and the interia is realy starting to look dated in BMWs the dash has not realy changed for 20 years lol

love the BMWs tho have had a few E46 m3 ect (wife got in that when we got it and said erm its like a cortina lol :( )

Nice car, i love it in white with the red roof and red leather interior though. I disagree about the BMW's though, i thing the E9x series is pretty stunning inside and out, the interior is well laid out and looking at the photos of Toms helphire 335i, it just looked stunning and i'd choose it over the A5 any day of the week, infact, i'd choose it over pretty much any audi bar the R8, and that's coming from an audi owner.
