Is there a site where i can read up on the in's/outs of overclocking.
Is a easy way of overclocking the i7 just to add more mult in the bios?
Say if you mult's at 21- go 22-23-24 and so on. Or is it more complecated then that.
Thank you for you help

Prob the best place to start is Youtube and watch some vids. Then when your 100% at what your looking at start reading :) Please dont go into your bios yet you will kill it.Its a lot more involed than just the multi. Take your time mate and read read and read.

O also forgot to say. If you have a stock cooler thats the firt thing you will have to sort. With over clocking you get heat! so you need to remove it. about £50 will get you a good air cooler.

As Danny said, check out youtube, I learnt loads! Also there's a good guide Here.

It's about upping the Base Clock (BCLK) and adjusting accordingly. The muti tops out at 21-22 and it tends to be there from stock anyway...

Most CPUs have upper-locked multipliers (i.e. you can lower it but not raise it) so it's a bit more complicated that simply playing the multiplier.

Read your post then looked at your sig and made me laugh :D

What parts are you looking to get? Aside from that and giving advice i can only recommend lots of reading, looking for threads on the mobo your going to get, that will help a lot
