***Official Wrath of the Lich King Thread***(Contains spoilers)***

After 4 weeks my great comeback finally saw the LK down last night. Now I'm left with a problem of HMs. I have a fear about spending the next 2 months bashing my head against those. How many of them are hard? Are they gear checks or a case of learning whole new tactics?
 
Deathwhisper, DBS , Prof and Sindy are probably the only ones that could be described as hard other than lk and some of those aren't exactly hard. They just require ppl to do their jobs and move from the fire (or other source of damage) in general or in DBS' case, can your healers sort themselves out to keep the marks alive while your ranged dps deal with the adds.

All have slight changes in their mechanics but none really have huge changes to the fight

Just to confirm you 100% cannot. I was in the same position as you, now I leave my US account idle.

If you go back to when the PvP system was changed before TBC Blizzard never said the titles earned were gone forever, it was a change that would be looked at later.

You only got your highest title back when the Achievement system was introduced, and lets be honest, did you keep PvPing each week to maintain that title? No? Well, in Vanilla once you earned High Warlord you got the gear and most would cut the hardcore grind thus losing the title.
 
We are on professor and Sindy HCs atm,

had 5 wipes sub 15% last week. This week its easy a down. Really enjoy the fight.

Professor we havn't tried on HC yet. but hoping for both down this week for our drakes.

Really enjoying it atm, finally something to dig heals into and do well on. Started getting my HC tokens now too. the DK t10HC set is sooo sexy.
 
Idk why Blizz decided to attach a boar on each side of the shoulder on the Warrior t10.

Maybe with t11 we'll have a mongoose helm.

What server are most of you guys on? Thereason I ask is I've been playing WoW on and off since beta but I've been on US servers due to playing with friends from Everquest.

It's annoying me now and it's restricting what I can do in game because I can't raid and progress because of the stupid timezones.

Sooo, I'm probably going to set up a new Euro account and start over from scratch! :( So any recommendations on a guild/server would be nice :)

Sucks that you can't transfer from US to EU, was in this situation like 3years ago :P
When i started to play on the US servers, got to 70 rather quickly, then realised that i was on US servers.. so couldn't raid or do anything.

Blizzard told me US servers and EU ones are 2 different games so its not possible to transfer :(

Though what is odd is one of my Australian mates was able to pick Oceanic realms, US or European ones.. probably because in Australia the time zone is like 'totally different' ;)
 
I did end up getting the new recruit a friend mount, took a couple of guildies for a spin, ejected them out mid-air (over water for 1 the other was a druid - i'm not a complete git) and generally yup, it's not a bad wee toy :)
 
Anyone want to recommend a friend me? I dunno if anyone's starting a new toon or anything but might be worth taking advantage of it while I'm about to start over :p

Probably going to play a druid as it's the only class I've never really played.

so where are most of you ocuk fellas playing?

i just resubbed an account ive used very little since vanilla days... my old r12 pvp gnome! fancy spinning through the wotlk content with the rogue before it becomes wow-history after cata launch. looking to migrate away from my dead server (boulderfist-eu, one of the hotspots for pvp back in the day) and to get into a new PvP server with active alliance side. any recommendations? i'll migrate straightaway :). looking forward to hardcore play this summer!
 
I just tend to do arena these days, only thing that keeps me playing.

2.1k in 2's at the moment, i'm a Tauren Resto Shaman, full Relentless/Wrath etc blah blah

Slowly getting back into PVE. (I've played since Vanilla, and was in the worlds top 5 guild etc)

Blizzard have a lot to do regarding PVP etc PVE, hmmmmm again making it more for casuals etc.

so i take it there isn't an 'official' ocuk server anywhere then? just looking to play with some casual fellas for good fun! i might migrate to karazhan if nothing else comes up - anyone familiar with the server? comments? ta!
 
If you're still up for it, i could send you a reccommend a friend as i have been thinking of levelling my last two classes to 80 (rogue and mage) and the experience boost would be fantastic.

Im on the server arathor btw, dont mind giving you a helping hand while levelling ( gold, bags etc) either.
