Thanks for the style tips guys, I'll take them on board.

You're welcome girlfriend!

Not as far as I'm aware - the guy who owned the production car shot a feature on the Crapheap Challenge and said that it wasn't necessary.

So you can't be penalised for not wearing an available seatbelt? (despite the fact your in the boot) :D

I was wearing a waist harness which was attached to a secure mounting point in the boot. It wasn't a proper seatbelt but it stopped me falling out the back.

Have you ever been out in one? I'd say 95% of the people we drove past stopped to look. You can see the two guys in the video as it drives down the Kings Parade looking back at it.

I have been out in two, both were the V10 versions. I'm not trying to take anything away from the car, its fantastic, but attention grabbing is not its forte imo.

Something like a bright orange Diablo on the other hand, now that turns heads, both blokey car fans and members of the general public. I would have thought you taking photos with professional equipment added to people looking at the car.

So MrSix, what/who was the customer? Was it literally just the owner of the car wanted some nice piccies? Just seems a bit too good (particularly the track setup with the sprinter etc.) for one guy to request, unless its the only car he will ever own :p.

Also, if you don't mind, how much did you charge? I'd love to take some decent pictures of my car but don't have the cheddar for something as extravagant as this but it'd be interesting to know.

Mega video.
Really well edited, keeps the audience interested, a great insight into the background & you come across as a really friendly & professional chap. I really hope you get some extra work off the back of this.

Haha! That is an absolutely brilliant come back, polite but with a hint of 'fudge off' about it! :)

This shoot was purely for my own benefit, I wanted some more automotive shots in my portfolio so I arranged this shoot off my own back. Of course I'll be sorting Chris (the R8 owner) out with some 30x20" prints for his trouble.

Great Pictures... awesome video... all the best, you really know your stuff.

Thanks buddy :)

Glad you said that it keeps the audience engaged - I was slightly concerned that it was too long for a web video (from my research typically anything over 4 minutes see's 75% of the viewers click off - however this is more specialised and is pitched to a target demographic rather than just slung on YouTube for the masses).

As for the fashion comment, those Police glasses cost me £125 and match my Police watch...I like 'em, I wear 'em.

awsome video, really did enjoy it, and it being in 1080p just added to it :D
top work !

1080p is the way forward...
