A figure is irrelevant. As David said in the first debate, it would be dynamic upon advice from local infrastructure. Pulling figures out of one's anus are what the LibDem's have done in their manifesto.

It is actually, in this case you're right. Of course regional caps would be even more logical if they could be implemented (I think they could but hey).

This is a chance for Clegg to slip up a third time now - once Euro, twice amnesty... third VAT on new-builds? Go on Clegg... do it! Show your true colours.

Agreed. Even if he did pull a figure out of his *** which could never be accurate, the other 2 would come down on him when if in the future it was different.

Don't the benefits of being in a free market like the EU far outway the costs of free migration across the community, maybe not at this time but generally ?

clegg is clueless he just says want people want to hear whilst printing manifesto pledges that say something different. If you are Thinking of voting pleb, sorry i mean clegg please please read the manifesto first

Most people who want to vote Lib Dem probably cant read the manifesto, too many non monosyllabic words.

Yes it does, but don't forget that we didn't have to have uncontrolled immigration from new EU members. France and Germany were sensible enough to impose limits on migration from for example Poland.

Housing.
we need a change of planning permission.
We need land that is sold of as plots to self build. Denouements un-able to purchase such plots.
we also need a change in building technique. We need things like beko and slipcrete buildings.
extremely fast to build. With far superior insulation and sound proofing to traditional construction and no concrete buildings do not look ugly. That is just stigma left for post ww2 concrete pre-fabs that where built for as little as possible.

I was unaware of that, thanks for the info

But which of them is demonstrating a clue. The tories surely aren't (sorry, economic policy just looks made up to me) and labour are too discredited to take at face value.

The IFS make theirs (marginally) the most credible economically...
