That's not dodged. he antlered it saying there is no exact figure sand why. Clegg just ignored it. As I imagine a lot of public will and they want things simple.
That was my point, sorry I was unclear. I said earlier it's naive to give an actual figure now before costing and consultation.

cameron is a tory, they are never straight.

One thing you can be sure of is that Chairman Gordon will only pile on more financial misery - and this is based on evidence of 13 years of his control of the purse strings, not some randomly held political prejudice like your own.

At the end of the day both labour and tory have had there chance. Lib dem's need a chance let them have it god clegg is right about if the same old parties get into power nothing really big is going to change.

We do need to give them a chance. if they **** it up so be it then no one will vote for them next time

Nick Clegg *lied* (went against his own manifesto) at least three times (Euro, House VAT & Amnesty)

Actually he answered clearly on VAT, he's proposing putting VAT on new builds because it's strange that there isn't any as compared to renovating properties. Maybe you disagree but he didn't lie and I thought he handled it fairly well.

I am getting sick of the Labour scaremongering.
I don't agree with some of Lib Dems policies.
I wouldn't trust the conservatives as far as I could throw Cameron's airbrushed face.

I thought GB would smash it tonight with his grasp of the economy but he didn't really take the opportunity to show his knowledge of the figures like he did in the last one. He just kept going on about Tax Credits.

Don't try and change his view point Shark, he won't listen.

This isn't X Factor. If they **** it up we are seriously doomed.

Well, after seeing all three I can sum it up to;

Clegg was a novelty in the first debate and now over the last three has shown he has little substance.

Gordon is constantly scaremongering and talking about things that should have been done already.

Cameron I have to say is actually being straight, and I'm swaying towards conservative.

You think? for me it was more;

Brown - couldn't care less about anything so long as he doesn't have to move house, has a scary grin.

Clegg - talks the talk well but bonkers manifesto, dangerous almost tbh, will probably win it with a landslide

Cameron - reactive not proactive, just another conservative leader in a long line of bandwagon jumpers, never really replaced Thatcher.

How depressing....

Clegg

I managed about 60 minutes before I decided I'd had enough of the debate. I'd have had Clegg ahead on points then but that is at least partly because he didn't indulge in as much petty sniping as Brown or Cameron. None particularly inspires me but I think as a lesser of the evils approach I might well be voting for the Liberal Democrats, they're far from perfect and do have policies I disagree with but no party I agree with wholeheartedly.

no, honestly I agree. Can't I not want any of them or any of the others?

In fact I'm off, please turn the lights off.

I'm sorry if I'm wrong, I'll watch it again on iplayer later, but I'm sure he was overly unclear!

Either way, two points (Euro and Amnsety) stand.

Do you really think they will **** it up any worse then ANY other party seriously?

I understand your point that it isn't X Factor but for god sake are they not worth a stab concidering how dire we are at the moment.

I cant see why not to be fair.

Yes.

Only maybe not, if we get a minority government and it ends up unworkable and we end up voting again in nine months.

re-election will still mean 4 years of hell, well until next election where they will give us some slack to try to get back in and then the hell will start again.

I'm not repeating my manifesto criticisms. That's why not.

I think it's Lib's for me. BUT, before thursday (next week obviously) I'll give a final read over of all their policies.

Gordon I didn't mind, until his constant scaremongering. Child tax credits.... I actually died a little inside after the billionth time he said it.
