Hi All

Twas my birthday on Monday and the people at my work gave me a gift voucher card for the high street chain that sells a lot of preowned games.

I'm not sure of the exact amount on the card but it's likely to be £20 - £30ish. I'm always looking at games but hardly buy any as I don't normally have the cash to spare and now I've got some money that I pretty much have to spend games, my mind has gone blank...typical!

So, I'm looking for a few recommendations for great games (preferably not brand new as ideally I'd like to maximise the amount I can get just from the voucher.

I'm looking for games on either Wii or 360

I enjoy fps games but tend to play them on my PC cos as eeryone knows mouse & Keyboard is just so much nicer for control...

I quite enjoy free roaming type games but tend not to play them for too long as I don't have huge amounts of time to play and really quite like to either be able to jump in for a few minutes then switch off rather than having to dedicate numerous hours to playing a game.

I'm not an rpg fan, for the same reason as above.

I quite like puzzle type games but not one which are too frantic as I like to play such games to relax.

Not really a platform gamer, and although I quite enjoy some football games, nothing will ever compare to SWOS which I constantly play on my psp.

Any recommendations very much appreciated.

Give some examples of games you already have, or have enjoyed, so we can rule them out and get a steer on what to think about.

Crackdown.

Oh yeah, was going to do that but forgot as I had to go out of the office part way through writing that post.

Wii:
Got and enjoyed

Wii Sports
House of the Dead 1,2,3
House of the Dead Overkill
Links Crossbow Training (in particular the parts that required running about using the joystick and aiming with the remote)
Super Monkey Ball (Game Cube versions)
Super Metroid Prime

PC Games I've enjoyed
HL2
L4D
Battlefield 2
Insurgency
Counterstrike
Peggle

Other Games I've enjoyed in my time (my brain has gone blank here...not very helpful I know)
SWOS
Cannon Fodder

Games I've sort of enjoyed but gotten bored and and given up with:
Bioshock
GTA3, Vice City, San Andreas, Libety City Stories
Twighlight Princess
Mad world
Mario Kart Wii, Kario Kart DS
Lego Indiana Jones, Lego Star Wars

WIll add more as I think of them.

No, only played the one on the Wii ( do I mean super metroid prime or is my brain failing me again...this humidty is not good for me.)

I have to admit I've not played the wii one for a while cos I did get a little bored with it...I'm a nightmare when it comes to finding a game I like...lol

If I could get a fantastic contraptions game for the Wii, that'd be great....However about the closest would be Prof Heinz Wolffs mavity which I've played on the DS and which is full of niggly control problems.
