The doctor has studied him and recorded that the guy in question managed to go without food/drink for 10 days. He only lost a bit of a weight during this period and did not die.

Nope not at all because the human body loses water at a rate of 400mls per metre squared of their surface area per day due to insensible losses. A person with no kidneys requires that. So in light of all evidence to the contrary I am calling hoax until this is verified by a reputable outside agency. Yes unusual and extraordinary things happen but never to this degree and we can only test for their truth when they have been properly reported and repeated as this has not been.
