Well, I got Green, like that's going to happen :). A close 2nd was LD, nice try but no cigar. At last in 3rd comes Labour at only -4, we have a winner :D

According to the poll you are voting for a party that you agree with on virtually no key issues. Why are you voting for them?

Very interesting site, I have traditionally voted Lib Dem however I had already decided I would vote Conservative in the next election. My results:

Conservative 37
Lib Dems 37
Green 27
UKIP 0
Labour -37

Liberal Democrat 36

Green 30

UK Independence 21

Conservative 18

Labour

I choose Greens.

Liberal Democrat 42
Green 34
Labour 22
UK Independence 1
Conservative 0

Expected and got, but already voted. The Green party bit was a surprise though. Guess I'd better buy a fair-trade "Vegetable rights and peace" t-shirt. :D

I did the political leaning test too and found I was a idealistic lefty.

You should all vote Tory because Labour have proven themselves incompetent and a vote for Lib Dem is not a vote for an eventual majority government.

The poll is pretty useless as it shows a 1 liner policy. Not pages and pages of the policys. Also people rate different policies with more or less importance and I expected most people with have 1 or two policies which, if aren't met, that party will not get their vote regardless of the other policies.

Anyway

Labour - not a chance in hell, he might talk about the right policies but you have not implemented any of them in 13 years, so you aren't going to now.
LD - Not a chance in hell with no nuclear power and screwing large corporations.
Con - at last. Nuclear power and realise taxing everything to hell is not the solution. Pretty much middle of the road for most of their policies.
Green - Not a chance in hell, a lot of the environment policies are good on face value but lack substance and done for totally the wrong reasons.

I realise it's usless that's why I said according to the poll. I was trying to make the point that an awful lot of people vote for a part not on policy but because they either like the leader, dislike another leader, their family always voted for the party, friends vote for the party etc etc. So few decisions seem to be based on actual policy. This could be wrong but certainly the impression I get.
