Gumball 3000

I saw the launch back in 2007 I think it was, great day. Also sneaked into the carpark the night before, got caught but then got a personal tour around the whole garage by gumball staff:D Gutted i'm not in the country for the start of this years as it's quite an atmosphere.

Theres a cheaper one of it, cant remember what its called though. Remember when that guy was wheelspinning bams car around the airport when unloading it and bam actually destroyed his own car because of it and recorded it on camera?

Some police in some countrys I've seen footage of them giving escorts at around 150mph+, and some just give them a ticket.

generally they dont give a ****, as afaik you cant get an international ban on your licence, which would just mean you cant drive in said country for so long, but if you dont live there its all good

Saw a chrome Gallardo in Gumball livery around Mayfair today. Forgot it started in May, thougt it was earlier.

just passed a sexy bright orange old school lambo around the olympic site in london just now. thought maybe it was gunna be in london for the start this weekend. was on foreign plates
 
I am hoping to drive down tomorrow for the Gumball start and will aim to get plenty of photos with the SLR. Any specific requests?

Does anyone know of decent places to park nearby? I would rather drive within walking distance than have to carry my camera equipment across London in the underground.

If you can it would be nice to see some more pics of the Lambo with the roof box? Oh and any R8's that might happen to be there!?!? Will have to go myself next year!

IIRC it wont start from london next year itll be somewhere in the USA i think thats how they work it.

theres a place i parked in soho i think cant remember exactly was about a 5min walk and i just stumbled across the start line ha
 
Was good

Was stood next to eve and xzibit at the start line for an hour, was intresting seeing them chatting away and playing about with there toys ... Eve evan kerbed the wheel as she went through the start line which i thought was niceeee haha

Good event, loved the sound of the SV and scuds. fanny was good too :p
 
Does anyone know what the 30k entry fee gets you, does it JUST get you on the grid or does that include hotels / parking / carraige of cars to america etc ?
