Hey all,

Quick request. I'm off to the bullring tomorrow with the wife, and I need a decent place to park thats 1) cheap 2) nearby 3) secure.

I parked in a multi-story down near the Carling Academy last time I went, but I'm struggling to find the address and I recall it being expensive.

Google maps isn't helping either.

Thanks!

That's the NCP at Dale End.

The bullring itself has parking IIRC? Failing that you could always park at Snow Hill station - Short walk away, and secure :)

Get there early enough & park at the bull ring car park.....Cant not get any nearer than that lol

I should have mentioned it's a 3 hr drive, so I'll need somewhere that isn't going to be full by 11am.

(I'm not leaving here at 6am to get a space!)

Snow Hill station is a good option or the actual bullring car park (not that cheap). The pallasades car park is good too, you only have to walk across that bridge to get into the bullring.

You are going to be massively underwhelmed if you are doing a 6 hour round trip drive to go shopping at the bullring. I go there most months with the GF because it isnt far from her place - its not bad but its not worth 6 hours of driving for.

Agreed. I wouldn't drive 6 hrs to go there. Hell I'm a 15 minute train journey from it and I rarely go...

...could be something to do with me being unemployed and therefore broke....:P

I live not that far from the centre of the Birmingham and avoid the Bull Ring like mad. These days it just seems to have 20 outlets but each outlet has 10 different stores. But hey I hate shopping (bar food and booze) - hate the centre of Birmingham and the only time I go there is to go via New St which is also an awful place. If I had to go shopping in the West Midlands I would go to "Merry Hell" as you get a bit more choice there and they have shops with power-tools etc which is more interesting in my eyes than going "OMG this is the 3rd Clinton Cards we have visited in the last hour - how fun!".

...I like it, besides, you don't JUST go to the Bullring, there is New Street, and all the side streets that leads off it.

I could get free weekend parking at Birmingham through work but its in the other end of town..

They should just rename it the Ring of Bull ****

Unless you want to go to the same shops you can find in almost every resonable sized town or city then I suggest going outside around the small side streets for the different shops.
