Dual Monitor on Asus GTX260 Glaciator+

Its not rocket science, a DAC with two outputs.

Independant res monitors have been around since before the radeon 8500 days.

The new thing is stretching a 3d image across multiple displays.

Its not really new - nvidia had it in their drivers up until around 2004 when they decided to pull from the gaming drivers and make it quadro only :| idiots.

I used to run a 1280x1024 and a 1024x768 dual monitor setup without problem using a nvidia ti4400 - check out this very old pic:

and as of recent I have been using a 8600GT with a 22" 1680x1050 resolution and a 32" TV using 1920x1080 resolution. You must download and trial ultramon for the "fake" taskbar on the secondary monitor, it makes the experience a whole lot better.

Not the most good looking set up, but it certainly is beautiful to use!

It was taken around august 2006! here is what I have now (2x dell 2007wfp) - also quite old now but they still look awesome!

Mind you, I dont have the 360 on the desk any more as I have it by my telly, and I sold my laptop on here as I rarely used it :)

I don't even have a 360! :D

Good monitor set up man. I think I'll end up going for a same monitor set up rather than two different ones like.

Need to get myself a mousemat!
