Hi I have a Sony alpha 100 body I'm looking to get rid of and was just wondering if anybody knew of any reasonable places to part ex for a new Sony alpha 450? thank you :)
 
London Camera Exchange are pretty reasonable, you will get more though if you sell it on ebay/ Talk photography forums?
 
I asked LCE for quote on two lenses I was selling as part exchange against a new lens from them... They offered over £200 less than I sold them for!

The only decent part exchange I've seen recently is for the new Canon 70-200 f2.8 II, £1600 + your Sigma 70-200 f2.8 II...
 
I've recently traded an Alpha 100 body against an Alpha 550 with LCE in Chester.

I got £100 for the 100. I know I might have made more on The Bay or as a private sell but I didn't want the hassle.

Shame you'll just miss out on the £50 cashback Sony have the A450 (assuming you want to part-ex as the offer finishes Monday 3rd and LCE don't open on the Bank Holiday).
 
Yes it is a shame. thanks for all the advice guys and I suppose in retrospect I would be better shifting it on the Bay to recoup the £50.00 I could have got if the deal was done by the 3rd of May. Much obliged :)
