i also have a pre order her cuz i always shop her if possible, love OCUK but now i been whitout a rig in 2 month so i couldent wait, i turned to the compitor. sry ocuk

well it seems from looking around there are a few compiters that have it now but mainly in the states and in germany, if this continue for much longer im gonna have to cancle my order and get it elsewhere really didnt want to.

its annoing as well as got a 980x ready to pt into it thats been sitting around waiting for this board.

Just another example of rip off Britain. We pay higher prices for the same goods compared to the US and EU and now it seems we will be the last country in the world to get a supply of these boards.

I just found this board on a german website and orded it, after i placed my order and looked in the website again it said out of stock think i got the last 1

Just out of curiosity how much did you pay for your board?

This board is now available in France in a lot of shops and I've got mine !

The layout is just fantastic and the general feeling while testing it is very very good.

I am able to overclok my i920 @4GHz using only 1,25v VCore and 1,35v QPI, something I could never do before with my 2 former motherboards.

My R3E takes place in an Obsidian 800D which is an outstanding case.

The board gives a little overvolt to the VCore which helps a lot of course.

I can just say I am more than happy.

Testing still in progress ...

Looking good there lovingbenji. Come on Asus, pull your finger out. I will be sticking with ocuk purly because there customer service is excellent.

What CPU cooler and memory are you using?

CPu Cooler is a Noctua NH, the first memory slot is very close to the fan but it fits perfectly.

My memory is 6GB GSkill Trident kit PC12800 6-7-6-18 - 1.65V - F3-12800CL6T-6GBTD.

I currently stress test my rig with te following settings :

Vcore : 1.25v
VDDR : 1.6525v
QPI/DRAM : 1.3500v
RAM @ 6/7/6/18/88 2T
Everything else @ Auto

The one thing I can say is that even if I am french with very good shops around (in Paris) I very often order things @ OcUK, they are very professional with an outstanding service.

Thinking about getting one of these but had some bad experiences with water cooling - can anyone out there help out us non liquid coolers and confirm whether or not any of the prolimatech (armageddon, mega shadow, megahalems rev b) or the venomous X, with two 120mm fans in push/pull will fit - and not block any of the ram slots.

From what I have seen all of these will definitely hang over at least one slot, but does this physically prevent fitting the ram in, or do you just have to make sure you install the ram first? There must be others out there looking for 12gb of ram and air cooling for the cpu - what coolers are you using and what are their dimensions?

mojo my setup is in my signature and am pretty sure the first ram slot will be blocked. am just hoping i can fit it, i will post as soon as i recieve the motherboard. but you should know if ur thinking of a noctua 14 then ur prob looking at covering 3-4 ram slots atleast.

I'm looking at the ocz intel extreme ram (in part due to it actually being listed in the QVL!), which does not have the tall heatsinks the dominators tend to come with - maybe by removing it off your first stick you will have some luck. Let me know how you do.

As a side note what really annoys me is not the lack of extensive compatibility testing, there are so many options out there would be impossible anyway, but rather the lack of specs for something like this which is often an issue for the enthusiasts. All I really need is height of the ram (which I estimate at 35-40mm) and then how high the ram sits when installed in relation to the cpu socket. I know for instance the armageddon heatsink body sits 44mm above the cpu - just need the other measurements. :(
