Starting to get a bit bored of my music collection so I'm looking to listen to some new stuff. Trouble is I'm a bit skint so don't want to be splashing money on albums I might not like. So I'm wondering if there's a decent source of podcasts that I can listen to for free before buying the stuff.

I've had a look on itunes but I think there layout is appalling and unless I have a specific artists/podcast names in mind then trying to browse is hopeless.

Type of music I like:
- Dance
- Drum and Bass
- House
- Hard House
- Trance

Two other factors; not too much talking. I hate it when someone waffles on constantly through a whole song. And to be able to find out the tracks on the podcast, either through a track listings or someone introducing them. Nothing worse then hearing a great track and not being able to find out what it is!

Only two podcasts I've really listened to so far are the Drum and Bass Arena and Hospital records ones, just because I've heard them mentioned before.

Thanks for any help.

I rate myon and shane 54 - International departures, above and beyond trance around the world, armin van buuren - a state of trance and Lange - Intercity radio.

I use spotify - it lets me listen to anything free, and you can connect via mobile too.

no talking, just select your playlists and press play.

You have to apply for membership though, and I cant remember how long I was on a waitlist for, but if someone you know has a spare invite?
- its the future!

I sometimes use spotify at home, but like I said I need to be able to download it so I can listen to it on my mp3
