I havn't played MW yet, but MW2 on the pc atleast is full of hackers, spawns are stupid, weapons are unbalanced and some are very annoying, campers to get high killstreaks... Played since January and fed up already so yer

I play on the PS3. I do hear that the hackBOX and PC do have hacking issues but all is fine on the PS3.

Blood, the thing is I'm playing MLG semi so I highly doubt it. Anyway, IW released the population list yesterday and it showed around 1.6million online on Cod4, 170k on WaW and like 1.3million on MW2, I can provide a link when I find it. Anyway i got Cod4 an hour ago and I highly enjoy it.

MW2 is nowhere near as illustrious nor accomplished as its predecessor. That is the whole point of this thread, to show that it's still a game that has longer legs and more recognition. How do you think MW2 managed to make 1 billion, despite being such a mediocre game?

So you have an account that you only play with other good players and it has a k/d of 6.79? Of course its going to be high if you play with other good players. I have got mine from playing with randoms on mosh pit which is a lot harder than playing with a good team which you probably play in TDM.

Definatly not as many playing mw1 currently as there is on mw2. Was only a couple of 10s of thousands on last night while there was a good 100k+ on mw2.

Anyway, the prices in store at gamestation were completely different to online. Cod4 cost 20 quid preowned in the shop when it was a tenner online. Funnily i said to the checkout guy i'd give him 15 quid or go elsewhere fully expecting him to tell me to **** off but he said ok then

Played it for a few hours last night and im not sure if i like it. Sniping yeah its a lot less hitmarkers than mw2 but i find i miss a lot more often for some reason even if the crosshair is fully on the person, not sure why. Also scoping in is so much slower by the time you've got them in sights the extremely powerful assault rifles have already dropped you.

Yah, I got to the shop also and the dudes like, that's £24.99 brand new. I told him to pee of and ended up getting the pre-owned one for £12.95. COD4 STATISTICS 1/05/2010 10pm register - 87495

At 10, thats how many we're online on ps3. Dno where your getting your stats from

Behave yourself, seriously, if people wanted to you could quite easily rack up a MASSIVE k/d by just camping and calling in air support, that was a lot less frequently done on 4 because the air support you could call in didn't rape as much as it does on MW2.

Pretty much everyone I know who has both games prefers COD4.

I remember plenty of massive k/ds on COD4 because killstreaks that weren't launched when you died would count towards new killstreaks when they were launched after respawn.

So plenty of people getting to 7 kills, dying, then launching the chopper. Rinse/repeat.

Don't get me wrong, I still think COD4 is an exceptional game, but the variety of weapons/perks/challenges in MW2 means it's by far the superior game in my opinion.

Whilst that is true, there was nothing like the chopper gunner which can easily get you 15+ kills, which means people just camp until they get one.

COD4 requires much much more skill in my opinion to get high k/d in a game.

I totally agree with Faded. Having done 5 hours on COD4 since yesterday I'm enjoying it with my friends. They're ditching MW2 also and coming back to this.

Like i said a few posts ago, i'm on xbox. Surpisingly i was getting my stats straight from the lobby, incase you were thinking i was making them up.
