First laptop needed

At the mo my partner uses a
amd 6400
2gb ram
windows vista
ati 1800 gpu

She likes to plays sims and that kinda games, but the pc needs a better gpu.
So ive said i would go halves on a laptop.

But really dont know anything about laptops
can anyone recommened a laptop that will play sims at good rez and with a screen size of about 15''

whats the budget for the laptop?, and any other use other then to play sims?

she just uses it for sims and the web. am questing about 400-500

Hi, Firstly thanks, secondly the downside to my laptop machine is it isn't really up to playing the latest games at good res, the graphics being a intergrated chip on the motherboard. To get good res for a game i'd look for a laptop that has an ATI or Nivida chipset.

one laptop that might be worth a look is the dell studio 15 laptop, has a Ati Chipset. A mate of mine has an older one of these and i think he runs certain games on it without much trouble. The downside to more gaming laptops is the graphics chip eats up battery life.
