how good is the Prolimatech Armageddon

does anyone know how good is the Prolimatech Armageddon or should i go with titan fenrir limited edition

What are you looking to cool?

I have the Prolimatech Megahalem with an Apache Black fan on my Q6600 and its very very cool. I was looking at the Titan Fenrir before but due to the position of the heatpipes where the CPU contacts the heatsink, it wasnt as good as the Megahalems. I dont know how the Megahalems and Armageddon compare though.

I’m using a ProlimaTech Megahalems with 2 Apache Blacks to cool my 980X, its very good. The only cooler in it’s class appears to be the Thermalright Venomous X.

Although I'd consider Thermalright Venomous X over Megahalems. If you really want a silence, Armagaeddon can be equiped with two 140mm quiet fans and will perform just fine. Otherwise go for one of the performance coolers.

Yes it is good but I would put it behind the Megahalems and the Venomous-X in the cooling league.

Thermalright Venomous X for me.

I use one with 2 Scythe Kaze Jyuni 1200RPM Slipstream 120mm Fans at 7V push/pull. Although it's on a i5 at 4ghz. Maxes out at at 61 degrees.

Anyone know if the armageddon with a 140mm fan blocks the first ram slot on an x58 mobo? I really wish manufacturers would realise most of these top end coolers block the first slot unless you use ram with normal heatsinks which if you are overclocking almost all the ram has tall sinks ...
