Well done on keeping your cool. i've taken a kicking a couple of times for losing it and trying to fight back when being heavily outnumbered.

Sorry to hear that. I'm mixed race, my mum is from Trinidad (indian by race) and my dad is english. I really hate how people like this just conform to the stereotypes and make things worse for everyone else. In my town there's a large asian community with a lot of 'gangsters' who have a bad reputation in the town. What makes this annoying is that many people (shop assistants etc) judge me based on skin colour due to this bad reputation. Avoiding eye contact with me and generally looking like they're scared of me. Often it's only once I start talking that they realise I'm not one of 'them'. I don't people for being like this at all but it's a good example of how a select few can taint the image everyone has of the rest of their race.

Generally I prefer to be in a group of mainly english people rather than anything else. People are more friendly towards you and more likely to talk to you when it's like that. I'm not saying that I don't have any non-english friends, some of my best friends aren't english but they share a similar viewpoint to me.

Yup, that's exactly how it works. OCUK told me, I'd vote BNP now if I were you.


The police will do something. CCTV is enough, even better if you have a 1 or 2 witnesses. A guy punched my dad in a bar near me, he ended up with community service and a fine.

Knowing my dad though he probably didn't start it but he wouldn't have exactly helped either. :p

I had something similar to this in leeds, Was out with my friend and she's pretty hot, Not showing off just laying down the reason for her getting the attention :p. We were waiting in a takeaway when they started Jeering at her, which is fair enough. But then they started with more nasty remarks, And I asked the guy behind the counter how long for the food, He said a few minutes but she wanted to leave, so I cancelled the order and we left. Thing is they did too without any food or anything and they followed us, shouting some nasty ****. Luckily a couple of lads got out of a taxi in front of us, and i shouted them to hold the taxi, Explained the situation and he let us get in.

It was scary because they looked like a gang, And the stuff they were saying seemed serious. 1 of them even had a knife, I noticed he was playing with it in the shop.

I know no one got physically hurt but it was obvious if they'd caught us up, I'd have ended up beaten and her probably worse.

Makes me so mad that i was so powerless

You are a coward and you are everything that is wrong with this country. Your inaction will mean this savage will continue to behave like this until someone stops him. The next person he assaults will have you to thank for it.
 
Ive had a similar problem in bradford which is right next door to leeds :S

Walking from the college which is right in the city centre to go get something to eat and a porche with 2 "rude bois" pulled up saying "look at this white boy by his self" and I ignored what the guy said which just seemed to make it worse lol. Carried on walking and one guy got out of the car, got on his phone for "backup" and by the time I got to the chinese all you can eat place I was surrounded by at least 10 guys all trying to bait me. Ended up walking into the restaurant regardless and the girl at the door phoned the police (they knew I wasnt trouble as I went there the same time every week for a year lol)

I've seen something similar in Hull where I live though but that was a very large group of kosovans a few years back saying "if we dont get some money for a hostel im going to get mad and stab you" so I just pointed to the free hostel across the road and gave him directions :D (risky move looking back but I was off my face as it was about 3am on a sunday morning)

I would have kicked off big time.the OP should be less of a pussy and stand up for himself.

Even if you had got a good kicking you could have got a few in and retained your Dignity for chrissakes !

You did read what he put right? 30 vs 1 and you think he should have stood up for himself lol. Get real man. If it was a gang, 1 of them most likely would have simply shanked you after all of them beating the living crap out of you to the point your parents wouldn't recognise whats left.

He did the right thing. Good luck with your "alpha male" attitude against those odds mate.

I'm guessing that I could hold my own against 3 or 4 but not 30.
