So me and a mate have decided were going to Thailand this September.

Have always fancied it and I need a holiday, so looking for tips and hints and the best places to go.

And what prices should I be looking at for flights and hotel?

Assuming there is some people here have been?
 
My brothers mate was there before skipping on to Aus. Said it was pretty hairy with all the protesting going on. He got out just before hotels stopped taking bookings and they started getting shot at and lobbing grenades at people.
