have anti-airs normals been toned down by the way like some chars cr.hp? i'm not sure if its mistiming or im just getting stuffed a lot

I share the same sentiment.
Infact with Guile Im not even sure if he now has a new standing HP uppercut when opponents jump in (similar to cr.hp but instead performed by pressing hp when an opponent jumps in).
 
does FeiLong's std chicken wings have invincible frames now on startup? he just went straight through my meaty ex oroshi and took me out

has guile always been able to punish block sweeps with flash kick as well?
 
Kreeeee do you know when my TE will be done by? I am at the dojo next week giving Nayan my old one so can get some games in if you want too :cool:

I've not been home in a month. I'm typing this while training in N.Ireland and there's no chance of the stick being done before I get home :p

Er you mean an opponent trying to sweep guile and guile FKs counter?

If so, really depends on the recovery of the opponent.

One thing I LOVE about Guile now... Sonic Hurricane recovery is almost instant, so even if it gets blocked, you still have some outs.
 
Good games Artheas, first Dudley experience, he seems very strong.

I've decided to concentrate on Sim more now, i neglected him badly after i started messing around with other characters in SF4, but i think i'm going to return to him full time.

Ibuki is going to be high easily, she does insane damage, has Akuma like mixups and can combo into ultra.

Can you elaborate a bit more on the Akuma like mixups? She could use her dagger like his fireball on wakeup, but i don't see anything else obvious.

Fought a few Ibukis today - i'm glad i learned some of her combos yesterday. Everyone is doing the target combo that ends in down+Fk, down+FK followed by jump, aerial attack -> combo. Probably the combo someone got stunned with in an earlier post.

Yea GGs. I did sort of notice your Dhalsim being a bit weaker, because i remember that the first time i played you, i thought you had a solid Dhalsim and i was really struggling to get in on you. I think he's been improved quite a bit for Super too.

Yeah this looks about right. If you fall for the reset in the middle it stuns every char in the game.

Yeah, i stopped playing him seriously around July/August and started working on my Balrog and about 5 other characters.

They've made his drill a bit better on block i think, i just need to get back into the swing of things, need to work on my zoning more.

My Ryu sucks so bad, i just don't know how to play him, i can do all his moves but it just doesn't work for me when i use him.
 
I know there almost identical but try ken over ryu if your having issues.

I'm def maining Adon getting more wins then losses online now which is good, my only issue with him and something I still need to learn is getting close without doing his flying kick move which can leave you really open.

Anyway halo reach time so probs won't b playing again till after beta.

Has anyone else given Makoto a go? it seems like the dev's have really nerfed the hell out of her, almost all her attacks can be FAed, only one normal armour break and it's slow and close range. 360's, normal throws, jabs, almost everything breaks karakusa. EX karakusa has almost half the range of lk version, if someone jabs you absorbe the hit get pushed back and the choke whiffs with massive recovery :o she was the only new character I was looking forward to /cry

The only good thing atm is her excellent U2 which can punish a load of moves on reaction.

My win rate with her is only 38% :o
