Racist in takeaway last night

I really will put it down to thugs just wanting trouble, over anything racial. The racist stuff in the OP was just something to talk down to him about,

You really think that the black guy would have said anything to another black guy that walked in? I very much doubt it.

You waste all that time typing that, trying to be sarcastic and stil fail.

Only your last comment is worth addressing. I'm just as careful of white guys in big groups and the possibility of them carrying. If you want to go off on a stereo-rant, go ahead.

You're the one who is still failing.

You're assuming just because there's a bunch of "black" people in a take away, that they're some how all together.

Just because there's a lot in there, doesn't mean they're an armed gang.

Yes, white guys could've done the same to some one who isn't "white".

I don't think anyone is arguing that some "white" person hitting another "white" person is racism.

That would take a complete idiot to try and argue that point.

When a person is targeted by the colour of their skin, it's racism.

Then that can be construed as racism as well. Especially if the whitey mentions race first and then take a pop. Here is happens the other way around and Alex argues that racism played no part in it?

Let's take the opposite then. 30 white guys, 1 black guy. White guy start digging out 'Leroy' commenting on skin colour more than once, swings for him. I guess Alex's post is just as valid then that racism had no part in the event?

Maybe not, but he was looking for something to kick off about, there's not much you can try and spark off something with if it's another black guy.

It's obvious the guy was looking for any reason to start problems.

No, I didn't assume they are all together, nor did I assume they're an armed gang. I merely commented on the possibility that one of them 'might' carry something sharp and that the best course of action is to get away. Same with whether the gang is skinhead whites, pink Marsmen or Nepalese Sherpa's.

guy behind the counter should have kicked him out i would atleast report it to the manager and explain a member of staff suggested YOU SHOULD LEAVE after you were punched in the head from behind twice within 5 minutes from someone shouting racists whitey comments

That's STILL racism.

As I said, to target some one because of their skin colour is racism.

Your "Leroy" is a bit ignorant as well.

In that case, I don't understand why you'd assume that out of any collection of people, one would be armed with something sharp.

why don't all of you fags go to a chip shop together and bum each other ?

everyone is starting to sound like an idiot

 He wasn't debating whether it was actually racist or not, of course it was, he was making a joke due to the fact that the media makes out that racism only comes from white people towards black people.

I missed that sorry, I miss lots of things when I speed read, but loose the roll eyes please. I'm not some little internet kid so perhaps you should try and be grown up too. Thanks.

Too much hassle going to the police. If anything did happen to him, id end up watching my back when i go around there next time. He would obviously tell his mates. I go around that area a lot both in the day and at night

I know if I dont say anything then it will continue to happen to others, maybe even me. Just seems like less danger by not saying anything

The only thing that would worry me if I was you is that they see you again and have another go because they think your a walk over. Sort of like a school bully that only picks on the people that wont report or do anything to them so they know they can have there fun and get away with it.

I dont know you so I have no idea if your that worried or go into that area a lot but just food for thought really. I mean he could try again if you reported it but he would be silly to if its been reported. Just make sure if your in that area again that your with mates or something. Have you ever seen him before that you can remember?

It's been 6 pages on this thread and already your attention span is working against you. Read the original post again and pay close attention to the part where the black guy explicitly makes a remark regarding the OP skin colour.
This was about race, no amount of sugar coating or typing 3000 sentences 'explaining' things is going to change that fact.

You've quoted that out of context, I go on to explain why. That's not particularly clever.

Best option would be to get out of there, inform the police, then press charges.

Eventually, when you have time, or if you are botherd, crucify him

From page 4

its not racism if the person being abused is white, I wouldn't bother informing the police they wont care.

Thats not entirely true, last year I was walking through Etruria in Stoke and there were a bunch of youths of Asian decent who were throwing rocks at pedestrians (a black guy on a bike and me anyway) and shouting for us to get out of their neighbourhood. I called the police and they melted into the darkness; cue large police manhunt includng dogs (turns out they had spent the summer intermittently doing this to amuse themselves)

Needless to say atleast the police care here

These people think they rule their "hoods". Makes me sick. They are generally all the classic example of a bully. If you REALLY had a fair one on one fight with them and hit them they'd go crying home....and then shoot you the next day. That's why you did the right thing walking away to be honest. Good decision. Sucks but...you'll get over it, and live to tell the tale.
