I posted a gumtree ad and he responded with an offer to trade for a different guitar. The trade is worth it imo - pretty fair... If it's all legit.
He own's this company apparently, http://www.xtremelightingni.com/index.html
I had a quick chat with him on the phone and he seems like a nice guy, and I find with musicians dealing in guitars there tends to be a mutual trust aspect that we all just have to deal with becuase in the guitar trading/buying/selling world nobody want's to get burned. I'm fairly certain he's a genunine musician... we were talking about guitars and basses and amps etc.
Just being careful really, I'd hate to lose the guitar and not get the other one in return as it's worth a fair amount. I'm just about to send the email with my adress, is there anything you think I should stick in there for safety purposes?
I've said I'd send mine off this thursday or friday via 1st class recorded delivery.
Or would you guys be totally dubious? Tell me what you think.
