LCD 1080p TV Leaving Trails

My Samsung LCD TV is leaving lines when I run through the grass or stones on the path on modern warfare 2, Is this normal for lcd stuff?

What model Samsung LCD TV are you using and what mode are you running it in? (is there a "game mode" option?)

not played mw2 but it isn't normal for an lcd to leave trails ....could it be ghosting or maybe effects from the game ?

Its a Samsung LE32A556P, and it only does it when there are a lot of fine stones or grass and you are panning quickly round or running.

It could be ghosting, but I have only just noticed it.

If you have noise reduction on, try turning it off, that may help

sounds more like a graphic problem.

Does your TV have any kind of motion enhancement (100hz, 200hz, trumotion etc)?

found out the problem, HDMI is when it has the lines when on MW2, if I use VGA its ok no lines!

Whats going on?

Same on all HDMI ports? Tried a different HDMI lead?

TV's will quite often turn off all their stupid 'enhancements' when on VGA as its usually assumed 'PC' mode. So turn off any noise reduction/sharpening/other crap Samsung have turned on. Game Mode (if it exists) will normally do all this, and reduce input lag at the same time.
