Looks like a solid build, personally I'd switch to Win 7 as it just seems far nicer than Vista in almost every way though.

Only other thing I'd really say was that case is a little pricey, and it's not a particularly good performer with air cooling for the money (would be fine though). There are cases half the price that would just as good a job, but I understand the case is a more personal choice too, so if that's what you want it's not a problem. You could then put another £100 on the gfx card budget or something though, not that it would get you that far unfortunately.

Yeah the point about the case is a good 1, the other case i was thinking of was the Coolermaster RC-1100 Cosmos S "Sport" how does this compair??

The Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R is faster, cheaper than the Asus motherboards (Asus P6X58D-E and Asus P6X58D Premium included), also not to mention it has USB3.0 as well as 6Gb/s SATA, while the Asus P6TD does not.

I had a go at it, its bit cheaper, and comes with the for a PSU in the price, I did miss out a Blu Ray which i just noticed you was using but it comes with a 5870, and a SSD and you still have around 70£.

Personally I'd go Titan. I've got a H50 and haven't been all that impressed so far, and the Titan has a brilliant price to performance ratio.

Easier to fit as well i recon, also i duuno but water inside a computer just does not sit right with me still, maybe 1 day i will get over it lol

I have too "+1" this.

I'd also like to +1 that above build, but value for money, you might even be better sticking with the 5850 (which overclocked will just about match a 5870@stock but for much less £££)and putting the extra towards a larger SSD, as 80Gb might get a bit constrictive, whereas 160Gb would be more manageable for an OS and a few key progs.

What monitor are you using? The bluray drive in your initial build is a good one (been using it for about 5 months now with no trouble myself), but if your monitor is small/not 1080p it might be worth bunging some extra into a new one.

The build Fallen God put together is a great place to start though, but I'd swap the 5870 for a 5850 and use the cash elsewhere.

Well its true a 5850 can overclock to 5870 speeds, but then again a 5870 can overclock to much higher than its stock speed aswell. Up to the OP really, but if he wants to save then it would be a good idea to go down to a 5850. Also I think 80GB is a decent sized SSD and with the intel price drop seems like a really winner.

I know im just skimming through this thread, that is one solid build, similar to mine tbh. However, thought about the new AMD six core? The new amd could be somthing to look for unless they are total crap?

Ive thought about AMD a lot, the phenom does apeall to me to be honest, i just feel that the i7 is slightly better, i could be corrected of course, that option does seem cheaper so the money could be spent else where ARHHHH all confused again lol
