All along the watchtower is a great one too, one in the OP is awful. The song you cover has to be decent to start with...

well thats just it, they took a rubbish song and I think did something good with it. Easy to take an already good song and improve it.

I'd disagree, a good song is difficult to improve further and not be overshadowed by the first. You have to really do something different and make it your own, like 'Hurt' above.

I see where you're coming from though, it's not like it's worse than the original.

now, i like Korn. ive seen them what, 3 times. but that is a ******* awful cover. if it wasn't for Word up, it'd be the worst song they've probably released. but no, their cover of word up is a whole 'nother lever of awfulness.
