Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

some good games :)

didn't know what to do vs cody, seems pretty strong. Seemed to miss all the punishes online for some reason :( was really laggy last night and my connection went down mid game and must've came back in the night :(

think I need to try some of the new chars, seeing some amazing bisons and chuns online tho :) new bison ultra is pretty cool.

super seems so much different, don't really have a main character atm
 
Just picked up one for the PS3.

Now I can't afford the game but I've got Unsuper Street Fighter 4 until I can afford the Super version. :)

What shape of gate is in the TE?
 
e36 if its PS3 how much you are selling it for?

Also, is it worth me getting another TE stick cause I "feel" my current TE stick is naff cause of missing the back forward motion (and coming out as back - forward jump) :D

Played an oppenent who went Guile last night. He totally slaughtered me. I couldn't do a thing against him lol. He had me trapped in the corner and just kept countering me as if he knew what I was going to do before I did. Grrrr

Replace the stick for £16, but I doubt the stick is broken tbh.

Might have been me you know :D You werent playing Cody, Dudley, Ryu or Ken were you :D ?
 
Finally managed to get a decent combo that links into a super/ultra with Guy:

Target combo -> lp.shoulder -> Super

Really quick, easy once you figure out where the link is between lp.shoulder and the super and takes off about 50% of an opponents health.

Utterly brutal.

The only ones i've found for an Ultra needs to be used in a corner so i can't see me using them often at my current skill level:


Target combo -> lp.shoulder -> FADC -> Ultra I
Or
Full target combo (by this i mean lp, mp, hp, hk) -> FADC -> Ultra I

Does silly damage though so i can't wait to be good enough to use it often. As it stands i'm finding Ultra II more useful as it's great for punishing and i'm not really good enough to FADC reliably with Guys relatively tight timings in comparison to some other characters.

All in all though, an utterly sublime character to play and exactly what i'm after, quick, powerful, plenty of combos and excellent for mindgames (infinite somersault -> elbow drop -> Target combo repeat always seems to confuse people) but i can't help but feel i'm the weakest link in his game. Someone with better dexterity and timings would be a demon with him.
