Free dirt 2 with ATI question

How do you get the game free on steam with the voucher i got with my 5870?

All it has is a product key on it and i cant find anywhere on steam to use voucher codes.

Just get a steam account and type in the code. The game is still not available at the moment so you can't download it, but it will tie the game to your account anyway.
You'll see it under the 'my games' tab under not installed.

Where do I go to tie the game to my account? do I need a disc or can i do it with this voucher on steam?

you just use the voucher. No disk is required.
There is instructions on the back of the voucher that explain exactly what you need to do.

just add the code to steam, and wait for 1 desember when dirt 2 is released and it should show up as not installed under my games, i have all ready done it and it says Dirt 2 (not yet released) under not installed

It does explain on the voucher !!
but basically open steam / activate a product on steam / next / i agree / then just input the product key that's on your voucher

I wish the boxed copy came with the gpu's with a steam activation needed

Doesn't matter, you can still activate the code for your account, however you aren't able to download it yet.

It just wont except the product key (not too bothered by it really just thought I'd try the game out). Maybe it's just my steam ohwell. I take it theres no point in asking for a new key.

If you can prove you bought the graphics card, i.e write your account name on a peice of paper and put it beside your cd-key.

send a support message to steam with that picture im sure they will give you a new key if you state whats happend.

if its not working its likley someone has copied the cd key using a keygen
