Will be looking at refurb cylinder head prices tomorrow I think. Although I am back at work and probably busy (got to tune a 302ci Mustang race car tomorrow on some single barrel holley :/ )
Pretty much all the places circled in the pics are cracks. Some cracks are not that important but the ones into the pre combustion chambers are the ones I'm worried about most.
Piston crown and con rods appear fine, why wouldn't they be?? The cracks are heat related fatigue, nothing else.
It's just one of them (on No 3 cylinder) has cracked into the cooling system passageways
