Into The Universe With Steven Hawking

Been watching this myself as im a bit of a space junkie. Seems pretty good so far, what amazes me is how deceptively simple the basic concepts are behind some of the theories and stuff.

Enjoyed it so far :).
 
Yeah the last one was great, an hour and a half of it as well!

Near the end when he was talking about multiple universes, each with their own set of rules. Crazy stuff.

Just remember it is all theory. Mind you it is theory from some very smart people, but theory nonetheless.

I'm still not buying into Hawking's wormhole theory, though. Warp theory is so much more sound when it comes to traveling great distances. Though they have similarities, the explanation behind them is not quite the same.
 
It's nowhere near as good as Wonders of the Solar System was with Brian Cox. But it will do until Wonders of the Universe (production starts next week!).

The things that let it down is the fact it's not Hawking's synthesized voice doing the talking. It's just some random guy that National Geographic use all the time for other shows. So it kind of makes Hawking seem like a sell-out. That and parts of the script were so blatently not written or even authorised by Hawking.
 
Just watched all 3 - excellent.
I like how Hawkings talks a bit and then it transforms into a real voice.
I couldn't have watched it if it was a robot voice all the way through.
