The moon is good, doubt you would get a good picture of Earth from Mars.
The picture is like wtf he is taking a picture of Earth, 6 billion people are on it, people dieing and being born every minute, he should not be up there, its wrong.

I realise that they go through rigorous physical and psychological testing but I'm surprised that we don't here about astronauts losing their minds as a result of space travel (with one or two obvious exceptions). It must be a complete mind ****.

I'm more partial to the picture Michael Collins took on Apollo 11. Every bit of life ever known to humans (apart from the photographer) in one frame.
And Bill Anders famous Apollo 8 photo of the Earth rise.

Also, those pictures looking at the earth. I can't imagine the many thoughts running through your mind as you look at that, thousands of miles away. Absolutely crazy.
