I tried this recently, it's still basically the same as before, although soon they are increasing xp rates and such, to make it less of a grind. The main problem though, is that there isn't much to do at level 50, so most players re-roll assassin/ranger level 30 twinks, and it's really really irritating to constantly get ganked by those when you're trying to level.

Has it changed much since the beta? I enjoyed that and would love to try some higher level stuff.

Aion 1.9 has just been released and its made a good game even better in my opinion!

Higher drop rates
Higher XP/More quests
Daily "PvP Quests
LFG system
A load of other features too. I'm still playing on Castor if anyone needs a Trial key.
