GTX 480 Are we ever going to get it

i am looking for a gtx 470. is there any end user review/ benchmark, other than the street fighter 4 one?

i would like to know how it performs for bfbc2 and some rts games like world in conflict and battleforge

It doesn't have the 470 in there, unfortunately but it does list the 5850, 480 and 5870 with the 480 being somewhere in the middle performance wise.

It's fair to assume the 470 will be a little slower than the 5850 in battlefield, then again it's a fair bit faster in Battleforge.

who in there right minds would buy a 470/480/5850/5870 for 1280 res lol.... when it gets close to 1920x1200 they are fairly even and thats where these cards count.

You would be surprised. I know someone who bought a 5970 for a 1024x768 display. I cried with laughter when I heard what they did.

What a total waste of time and money.

I did a benchmark using fraps for Bad Company 2 on I think level 2 for my gtx 480.

Settings: DX11, 32xCSAA @ 1080p and all settings on full, HBAO on and these are the results. The 480 was clocked to 825ghz and memory was left at stock.
