Swiftech Apogee XT Extreme Backplate

On a P5e3 socket 775 MB I am changing from a noctua NH-U12F cooler to a Swiftech Apogee XT Extreme, will the noctua backplate fit the Apogee or will I have to remove MB and fit Apogee backplate?

Yes it should fit, and yes the threads *should* be the same as it's a pretty standard thread size.
