Who is to blame BT or UK Online

I left my old ISP XLN back in January 2009 and joined uk online and my download speeds went from 700kbps to 3.80mbps about 3 months later I suddenly started to download at 1.5mbps and lower sometimes as low as 3kbps! Now around February it went back up to a very stable 3.50mbps however now since April I’ve been downloading at 4.50mbps. Now who was messing with my speeds BT or uk online I’m kind of concerned that my speeds will take a nose dive any time soon, could it be that with BT upgrading their network that’s why I have seen a vast improvement in my speeds and the line is much more stable, it was constantly re-syncing before.

If the line was re-syncing then you must have had a problem with the line. I had a problem with line back in November where my connect speeds nose-dived to around 2mbs rather then my normal 6mbs, had to log a call in the end to get the fault fixed.

Just phone UK Online and tell them what's happening, they'll be able to tell you who to blame and will organise an engineer/visit from BT if necessary,.
