Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

Getting the hang of my TE stick now! Takes a few games to get used to it. Just need to improve my consistency! We need a 360 tournament setting up!

i agree, apart from the fadc and the down up motion, i am slowly getting used to stick.

on the tournament, as long as i dont face Margaret and Artheas in the 1st round, i have every chance to do well(assuming there is no-one as good as them).

I dunno, I think e36 is quite a bit above you and have you played cav much?

I'm not an oracle, I can't even do fadc ultra.

I just dislike playing online because I rely on tight combo's, I like to help people and I like to attend tournaments (don't do well in them).

Im dying for some games right now, but I am actually trying to finish off this assignment which I need to complete by tonight.

ggs vian, unorthodox new character choices! (Makoto and Hakan)
I got owned good by Hakan's normals at first though, they have good range and come out pretty fast. great damage too!
With Makoto though.. it's gonna take anybody some serious hours with her in training mode to get decent imo. She's like Gen to me - never in a million years would i pick her :p

gg too. this is the first time i play against anyone with a stick. K wanted to play as well, but i couldnt change the amount of players in the lobby. it would have been nice to see you against Kreeeee.

i am usually quite good with command throws characters (other than abel), because generally they have good normals and not too many combos to learn. the only probably with hakan is, he is too slow and he cant jump. his focus is slow as well, so i cant really use it to dash though fireball traps. i only really use his pokes and thats it. as you say they are fast and rangey (but only when oiled up).

i couldnt oil up at all against your dee jay and ibuki, but i could usually make a decent come back with i could get it (but i cant do the shoryuken motion well with a stick). i thought my match against your t hawk was quite funny. it seems my ultra beats anything in the air, i was worried condor dive might break it. btw can you block that ibuki slide and throw move? it seems really quick and impossible to stop. i thought we had quite a few close games, but i always ended up losing 3 rounds to 1, and my only wins was against dan and hakan (a character you not used to against my chun li...).

i think i am giving up makoto, which is unlike me to do that. she is just too hard to play and needs too much tricky and read stay inside where she is effective, but her health is poor as well. on top of that she got no decent reversal move.

Pretty much heh. I can pull off all the moves but my problem comes with doing pressure such as jab jab jab rush punch etc.

I love completely zoning people out as well so that might be my subconscious telling me to exit training mode :P

Seriously considering moving mains to sim

She's real tough to play with, I've scrapped back up to winning about 50% in ranked matches but can't cope with decent players yet, think I lost 15 straight to Luke's Bison :o good training though. I found a video of fairly high level play with her, against gouken too.
