What to do with old VHS tapes?

I have loads of them. Do I just have to take them to the dump?

I thought I might be able to off-load some collectible old wrestling tapes which I don't think are around on DVD but I had a look on an auction site and it seems nobody wants anything to do with them.

Unfortunately they're pretty much like trying to sell second hand cardigans!

You could transfer them to DVD and then bin...

I dumped all mine, i didn't have many though, 20 odd but they take up too much room !

Only VHS tapes I have now are from old home videos, including 2 betamax tapes, haha! My betamax camcorder was absolutly huge!

You could ask your local charity shop but it will most probably be the dump.

Took mine down to the tip the other day to be recycled, made sure the sleeves were off first and recycled them also, took ages..

They usually take it to the dump for you.

I could tell you with almost certainty that the Charity Shops will not take them.

I have a load that I'm waiting for one of those charity sacks to come through my door again. They take them. Normally I get about 5 per week, now I have had a sort out I haven't had one through the door for months.
