What happens when a mountain climbing photographer do wedding photography?
http://www.terjeaamodt.com/blog/2009/08/20/bryllup-andalsnes-stavanger/

This dude does very good mountain climbing / ski sports shots but after checking his wedding shots, especially the one above, I think he's got a great eye for them!

I tried Google translate via Chrome, it's hard to understand Norwegian...
Anyway, I was just googling for wedding inspirations and came across this, hope you guys enjoy this~

Lol but original!

Surely time taken setting up shots > time actually shooting?

Edit: having seen the montage video, I much prefer his traditional wedding shots - they look so natural, simple (but effectively convey and tell the story), happy and not overprocessed (high key) like so may others do.

Watching the video, I think it's a planned shoot immediately after the wedding, so the time it took for them to trekked up and shoot would most likely be longer than the ceremony itself! (Not that I'm very familiar with that region of the world!)

I got married in China and (as per the norm there) we had to have a studio session which included similarly cheesy dramatic shots (albeit with mostly fake backdrops). The linked shots are obviously better.

Gotta say they are stunning. Not sure you could get the effect in most of the UK however, and you'd need a game couple to do it (I can't see many brides sitting on the edge of a mountain...) :D

Wow very nice, wonder what was used to take the photos?

what do you mean?

Most likely a Full Frame DSLR with either the 14-24 or 16-35. Unless its the 14mm prime for the wide angle shots. For the rest, it could be anything really, 24-70, 35, 50, 85 etc

Sorry, should have been more specific, I meant for this. Just interested in the kit really.

This has probably already been said, but I would put money on it, that this has been set up, i.e there probably not even getting married, or just willing participants way after the initial date.
a lot of shopping to, for instance the ones on the edge of the rocks are way to sharp from that distance. They have been placed there from a larger picture from closer up.

If you've watched the video, I'd say it's a wedding and then a shoot after the reg/church.
