*Official* Battle of the Immortals - MMO

Each to their own and all, but I really see where your coming from with that comment -.-

Game seems like good fun.

Very much like PW in that....

When you have a quest you click the mob and it will auto run you there, when you want to hand it in you can auto run to the npc.

There are daily event/quest things, a fair few instances.

The PvP is good fun, the guild features are not bad. Guild members can do quests and get contribution points for the guild and gold for the guild. Guilds can level up and choose passive/active spells.

There are things called relics and you can get your first relic quest at 35. This grants you 160 exp every min you are logged on so if your afk mining etc then you can get some exp over night while you sleep. While it is good at lower levels at level 60 you need 3.3 mil exp to level so it's not really that noticeable. You can upgrade this and it seems to add 10 exp per min per level but the materials you need are quiet a lot.

Everyday you can visit a NPC to get a harvesting tool and you can harvest 400 materials per collector. You can visit an NPC and get 60 hp/mp food every day also. From instances you get tokens and you can trade these in for items. Basically at level 30 you can start buying these items and they will last you up to level 45 np.

All items can be upgraded and so can the mounts. The pet system is mental also, really good.

I could go on for ages but it's worth trying out. If not fair one but I'm enjoying it a lot.

The thing is, if point and click MMO seems revolutionary it is hard to take the rest as correct as well, it is the oldest type of control system for MMOS. Before WoW weren't most like this?

I used to play Lineage 2 and while fun at the time it turned into a massive grind, with days of PvE for a tiny bit of PvP and skills/levels took months.

Do kinda like Point and click, good for archers. much harder to "kite" in Aion.

Game was released last Tuesday for Open Beta - no wipe.

It's a great game it really is.

They have opened a European server Aquarius - make sure when you load the game up before clicking start you click Europe. When you start creating your character at the top it will say induction ID - please enter 6000304G010803091008000S16f91f
This will give you VIP status, you will basically get items which can last you until you are 30/45/65 before you need to replace. It will also add me to your friends list so if you have any questions feel free.

There is so much to do there really is. There are so many daily/weekly events there is not enough time in the day to do them all. There are loads of people in the game and it's great fun. Seriously the OP doesn't do this game justice.

Everything about those screenies screams copy and paste, from the characters to the art style to the actual logo. I think I'll pass :p

Yea, there are a lot of references from known things like film..

References from The Mummy, Pirates of the Caribbean there are others also.

dinks if you pmed me yesterday sorry I was afk (had a few people pm me) but I'll be on later should you need help!

Downloaded last night, used the code you provided, cheers for that, kept getting gifts, some good gear. Rolled a Berserker. Quite like the cash shop actually as well, could be tempted with a mount or two.

Didnt feel like i had played long and got to level 21, whats the cap ?

Game feels like Titan Quest Online, i like :D

Yes mate, it's a good code. I only just replaced one of the necklaces you get at level 65!!!

Zerkers are a good class and very powerful later in the game. The cash shop is really good. If you read the mount descriptions it will say you get like 3000 hp or something like that, basically if you mount up then unmount you will get the buff for 30 mins which is great. I would say the class mounts you get at level 25 are great. I'm a slayer and my primary stat is Dex and my mount at + 4 gives me + 8% dex which is a huge boost. I would say the best things from the cash shop are...

Bag extensions 175 zen each, these add 5 slots in your bag. Storage expansion, if you go to your Stash and click expand it costs 150zen but gives you 20 spaces in your store. Also you can get major fortify crystals which are handy they have a higher success rate than normal crystals and if you get your weapon to + 5 it will give you a 50% damage increase. You can also get pet skills which are really powerful from the cash shop but everything that you can get from the cash shop (bar the mounts) can be obtainable in game.

The cap afaik is level 150 but no one in the Chinese version has hit that. To get some cash I would highly recommend going to the events and doing the academic quests and crazy shopping when you can. These are a great source of income. You can also sell Zen for in game coins which a lot of people have done.

Once you are level 20 you can do Jail instance and I would recommend to do this, you can do this a total of 5 times and you get stamps each boss (there is 5 bosses) with stamps you can exchange these for level 30/45/60/75 gear which is really good until you start getting soul gear. I would also recommend doing fallen darkness when it opens and dragon island as these give great exp. If you press F7 it will bring up a double exp screen and you get 300 mins of double exp per week + you can get stones which add 60 mins of double exp per one. You can activate and de-active as much as you want. If you did 5 Jail runs at level 20 with double exp on you will more than likely get to about level 27.

Ah cool, cheers for the tips, i got gifted an extra 5 bag slots from that code you gave me, i will buy some zen after work I think and get some bag extensions.

Ive just got to Atlantis and picked up some quests for the jail instance so will try and get into a group for that tonight with the double xp on.

So far really enjoying it, certainly more so than any other f2p mmo ive played before.

You can have a master in the game also. I can try and find one for you if you want. Basically every Wednesday and Sunday you can do a master/disciple quest which will give you around 1 million exp.

Also when you hit 40/50/60 I think you and your master both get an in game mail which contains about 500k exp.

You can also get a relic at 35 which gives you exp every min you are logged in. You can upgrade this by mining materials. Meryl (she is in Atlantis Square) gives you a free mining tool each day, or you can buy them for 59 zen or 309 salaray (you get salary from being logged in)

If you buy 5300 zen you get 5000 salary and one once you have 6000 zeal saved up (another form of currency in a way based on every min you are logged in) you can exchange this for 2500 salary also.

I did notice a good few different currencies in game which seemed a bit confusing.

Deff interested in the Master system though, will fire you over a pm next time in online, extra xp is always nice :D

Yea there are a few :(

Zen - you get this by buying it with real life cash, can use to buy items from the marketplace.
Coins - this is the in game currency you get by questing/selling items.
Salary - you get this every min you are logged in. You also get 2 salary cards every $10 you spend, also it can be a quest reward/boss drop. You can also get this from Zeal. Salary can be used in the salary market place.
Zeal - you get Zeal every min you are logged in. It's capped at 6,000. At 6,000 you can trade this in for Salary.
Credit - You get credit from spending stuff in the Zen market place.

Yea mate give me a PM I'm sure I can find a master or I think one of my disciples may have over taken me in level now and is no longer a disciple lol.

I was gonna give this a go after all since people say the cash shop isn't _that_ bad, then I realised there isn't an archer class

lol >Fail

Yea, it's a shame about there being no archer class but they would rape the whole game imo if there was one lol.
