OK lets try this again. EVGA have released their water cooled GTX range. A while ago I asked on here if OC were going to stock it. The response I got was to raise a web ticket.

I have now done that and the response I have had is to raise it on the forums.

So, once again does anyone here know (and I mean do the OC purchasing team who moderate the forums know) if OC will be stocking the EVGA *** GTX480 HydroCopper? and of course any ETA?

Cheers.

Andi.

Looks like all EVGA stock is destined for the US market,.

Why not call or web not them.

You should realy be posting in the OcUK Customer Service Pre-Sales Queries forum.

tbh, given the premium you'll wind up paying for it you'd be better off buying a std 480 & slapping a WB on it yourself.

Beginning to think that. Anyone confirm a manufacturer that will let me do that for warranty.

Zotac allows cooler removal under warranty, if you damage anything on the PCB then of course that's the warranty gone.

Not so sure about that - taken from the UK web site.

4. The warranty does not extend to
defects caused by failure to comply with operating instructions, improper use, inappropriate operating conditions, overload or modifications by the user.

In particular, the warranty will not be valid if

- the product has been modified and/or willfully damaged in any way
- the serial number has been altered, defaced or removed
- the GPU cooler fan has been removed or replaced.

I think it may refer to damage caused directly by tampering, ie. if it just b0rks due to natural causes it's okay but if you snap the PCB in half you're buggered.

nope, it's pretty much black & white.

and theres no way to hide the fact the stock cooler been off as Zotac use a specific colour locking compound on the screws that hold the cooler in place.

I have also been looking to get one of these but so far none are available to purchase in the UK.:(

I`m planning on building my new system in a month's time and may have to resort to putting my old GeForce GTX 260 card in my new
system temporary until I can find a way to purchase one of these cards in the UK or a find a iterative method for water cooled GTX 480.
