ok so, I had a keyboard to ship, its big and heavy (g15 v1) and posty wants stupid amounts to post.

I get home, look online, interparcel do a next day delivery same day pickup... untill 15:00 hours.

Ordered that at 2:16 pm. The UPS guy just picked it up, at 2:35pm.

Thats insane!

They use these standard issue :D

I have used them several times, good prices and reliable. Though obviously interparcel is just a broker and not the actual courier.

Interparcel aren't the courier. They just send your job request to whichever courier gives them the best rate for the service you've chosen.

I know that :/

I'm just saying the service on a whole is good, shows you a range of couriers, tells you that pickup for same day is avail on a selected courier, gave me 5% discount, booked it through their website, Not had any hassle with them.

I've had a very similar happen to me. Requested a collection from my house for an item i sold on ebay, and the DHL driver was knocking on the door 20mins later.

Does anyone know about Interparcel's correct shipping weight?. On there site you can choose upwards 1kg,2kg,3kg etc... but not a precise number weight.

My parcel is 1.375kg so would i put down 1kg or 2kg because its over:confused:
another example: if my parcel is 3.050kg, would it be classed as 3kg or 4kg because its over 3kg.
They'll charge a £15 admin fee if i get the weight wrong:eek:

Halp me please, need to send some stuff out this week. Thanks!

From my experience working in the transport business, you always class it higher than it is.

So 1.375kg is a 2kg one. Might be different for different companies though.

I use interparcel as well, prices and ease of use to send your items are fantastic. Sometimes cheaper than post office even for small items.

+1 for Interparcel. I sent a heavy car gearbox last week weighing 40Kg. They collected it when i asked and it was delivered the next day for only £10.99+vat. That was using their cheapest postage option too.

Will certainly be using them again for very heavy stuff.
