^ That depends on resolution.

The 4850 GPU will probably be fine on high at 1680x1050 but I'm not certain about DX10 - even my GTX260 drops below 40fps in DX10 (1920x1200) using high settings so I opt for DX9 instead which gives 60+.
 
Got my platinum for the NS 2000 tonight so now I have 4 shotguns with platinum stars :P

Just need 3 more gold stars for the SPAStick so once that's done I will have them all! not counting the underslung shottie though I may go for that too :P

Well you better home I'm not on the opposing team. On with a couple of [DW]
guys last night. We were great pity the rest of our team were a bit special.

Plenty of tracer hits from halfway across the map followed by homing Gustavs going bonkers :D

ALso had a good game on the open icy level with the Apache. Went sniper and got to 10-0 as a recon with the Gol, soo happy to finally get some kills with this class. Surprising how many snipers out there are complety static and just sit there in the same hiding place thinking they are invisible. Also managed to pickup yesterday eve how to get more kills on moving targets and on my 3rd attempt at a jet skiing sniper, managed to Headshot one :D:D:D


Really got the hang of it now, especially with the Q6600 @ 3.5ghz and the 5770 purring away. Doesn't half make the corsair HX520W fan go bonkers though, louder than my dual fan modded tuniq :D

I'm not saying it's a good tactic, and I certainly don't do it, but you'd be surprised how difficult it can be to see a recon well hidden in the vegetation :) In some of the jungle maps, I've often found people well past the 'front line' hiding in the bushes

Until you get the last unlock, the m95, i think actually the m24 is the one of the better sniper rifles. I certainly did not use any of the other rifles until the last unlock. I tend to be more of a shotty/c4 recon anyway as sitting in a bush somewhere waiting for someone to come into sight is not my idea of fun.
 
Doesn't the M95 leave a vapour trail though, showing the person you just missed exactly where you are?

I usually use the M24 or Gol... I can't really tell the difference between them. The SV one isn't too bad either
