Have aliens hijacked Voyager 2 spacecraft

The JPL engineers believe that the problem lies within the memory buffer and storage that holds the scientific data before it is transmitted — for sure it is some fault within the data collection, storage, and transmittal system. This happens occasionally when a cosmic ray causes bits to flip or become totally corrupted. Fortunately, the command and control system has not been affected, so there should be no problem running diagnostics on the data system and determining a fix.

Have they tried turning it off and back on again?

Does this mean you can quite honestly tell your girlfriend or wife she looks younger than she is?

LOL - I'm going to use that. Though you'd have to be careful not to get confused and tell your wife she looked younger than your girlfriend.

Knowing women, she'd probably be alright with it given the compliment in there!

Maybe... Maybe not...

And of course mavity (waves) travel at the speed of light too! So if the Sun completely disappeared, we'd still carry on orbiting it for four minutes...

After watching the Hawking trio of episodes, in particular the Time Travel one, (watch it here:
) I'm more siding with hawking on this as it makes sense. Watch all the parts in the link, very interesting and mind melting stuff.

Are these his programs on the Discovery channel? They've only shown the first one haven't they (about aliens)?

Yes his 3 part series that recently finished and aired on Discovery.
You can watch them online like I have linked above or can watch locally in HD. Hawking's eyeball looks great in HD ¬_¬

But it only started like last week? I've done a series link on it I believe so should have it... Or be getting it!?

Must be the American airing I've seen perhaps? Well worth watching especially the 3rd part "The Story Of Everything" - it sort of mixes in the important bits of the previous 2 and adds a new dimension to Hawking's thinking. It's also the longest at an hour and a half.
