So yeah there's not much to this thread but I laughed to myself and remained in a somewhat perplexed state after locking the car upon returning home.

Firstly my morning drive brought me past a Clio, on it's side, against the pavement with all the glass blown out, no doubt a hard roll. On a straight section of 30mph road (outside a school too, ohh sux2beyou). How you manage that is beyond me, really.

Second was the final coastal road stretch. Now it's a road kill central drive 9 out of 10 times, lots of fields etc. You are going to at least see 1 dead something. To start there was a rabbit just sitting facing away from me in the lane, sitting there, didn't move an inch. Thought it was a rock and went around, the proceeded to swerve around not 1, 2, 3 or even 4 dead rabbits, but no less than 10 of them.

I have NEVER seen that much fluffy bunny carnage within 300yds - ever. Every corner I took I am thinking "Cannot be any more....oh..yeah there can....wtf" then one runs right across me, gets a facefull of splitter and no doubt my cat and differential then appears in the rear view mirror just seconds later, does about 5 front rolls and then runs off into the hedgerow.

Just....yeah.

Yup, there was probably an outbreak of this in the area

there was an 'outbreak' everywhere.

unfortunately this disease is still about in significant quantities, cannot believe such an idea was given the go ahead. rabbits just die a slow painful death instead so its best to pick these off if you ever see one.

Its what they used to control the rabbit plague down here a few years back AFAIK

What so you got up early just to go for a drive? Then came back home?

I think I'm definitely getting old :)

When some of us buy cars, we don't want any old car we want something that is fun. Also many of us enjoy driving so actually like to just go out and drive without having any destination in mind.
In Jersey, having a decent drive without being gridlocked means doing it in the evening or early morning.

Where exactly is this “Bunny Run or “Dead Bunny Run”?

I'm going to have a guess, guaranteed frogger (with rabbits) in rl. Steep drop mind...

I think I've got a fun to drive car but I've never woken up thinking must go for just a drive. :)
